Rob Schatten – Editor

Having come into basketball at a relatively late age, Rob is slowly coming to terms with the reality that he’ll never be a starting NBA forward. Over the course of that long and difficult healing process, he took to writing sports journalism as an alternative career. In 2011, Rob was approached by Snack Media to create and operate a basketball blog site written by fans, for fans – and NBAFanCast is the result. When he’s not blogging or reading up on hoops, Rob has found his level on the court – as a back-up forward for Suffolk League side Clacton Cannons.

Arron MacDonald – Senior Contributor

Arron is a talkative, hard-hitting forward who’s never seen a shot he didn’t like, and knows the NBA like his own local league. An ardent Boston Celtics fan (read between the lines and you might even be able to spot it), Arron has followed the NBA for nearly 20 years. If you want a debate on anything NBA-related, present day or at any time since the Jordan era, this is your man.

Ali Miller – Contributor

Ali has played and followed basketball from the age of 7. He had a pretty successful junior career – captaining England for 2 years (even rooming with Luol Deng no less!). He has supported the Bulls since the Jordan glory years through the barren wasteland of the early 2000s to the Derrick Rose renaissance. His literary heroes include Cameron Crowe, Bill Simmons (obviously), John Lethem and Ernest Hemingway… and Phil Jackson.
